Workshop for Filling Government Officer Information Forms

On August 13th, 2025, a workshop was conducted at the Kampong Cham Teacher Training Center for the 40th generation of pre-service teachers. The primary objective of this event was to provide essential guidance on correctly completing the government officer information form, a mandatory requirement for their official appointment as in-service teachers. The session was led by officials from the Department of Human Resources of the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sport (MoEYS) and was attended by the pre-service teachers, the Director of the training center, and administrative staff. This annual workshop is a critical step in preparing future educators for their transition into public service.

The workshop commenced with opening remarks from the Director of the Teacher Training Center, who emphasized the significance of the documentation process as the first formal step in their professional careers. Following the introduction, the officials from MoEYS delivered a detailed, step-by-step presentation. They distributed physical copies of a sample completed form to each attendee, which served as a clear visual guide. The officials walked the teachers through each section, pointing out key areas on the sample form and highlighting common errors to avoid. Key topics included the precise entry of personal information to match national ID cards, the accurate listing of all educational qualifications, and the compilation of all necessary supporting documents. A comprehensive checklist of these attachments, such as certified copies of birth certificates and academic transcripts, was also provided to ensure every teacher could prepare a complete application package. The session concluded with an interactive question-and-answer period, where the pre-service teachers actively sought clarification on specific issues, and the officials provided thorough, patient answers to ensure all doubts were resolved.

In conclusion, the workshop successfully achieved its objective of equipping the 40th-generation pre-service teachers with the knowledge and confidence needed to complete their government information forms accurately. The clear presentation, practical examples, and direct engagement with Ministry officials demystified a complex administrative process. As a result, the attendees are now well-prepared to submit their documentation correctly, which will facilitate a smoother and more efficient transition from their training to their official roles as educators within the government system.
